An intuition journal: checking your impressions
A simple exercise using advance notes, a time frame and comparison of hits and misses.

Record the impression before the answer
Choose a small question with a clear outcome that does not intrude on someone’s privacy. Write the expectation, reasons, confidence and time frame. If your view changes, add a dated entry rather than rewriting the old one.
Compare with an ordinary baseline
Predicting a frequent event is not remarkable in itself. Record how often it would occur without a special guess. A small number of successful examples is insufficient to establish an ability.
Give misses equal attention
After the deadline, record the outcome, including “cannot determine”. Look for unnoticed cues or a meaning changed after the event. The exercise develops awareness of judgment without promising a supernatural gift.
