In this lesson
  1. Begin with the service scope
  2. Describe difficult cases in advance
  3. Check whether practice follows the text

Begin with the service scope

The first paragraph should state what you do, by which method and what you provide. Avoid promises of guaranteed accuracy. “A symbolic reading of three cards with written notes” describes actual work.

Describe difficult cases in advance

Explain how someone can end a meeting, request correction of a factual error or report a problem. State where notes are kept and who can access them. A short specific rule is more useful than a broad promise of “complete ethics”.

Check whether practice follows the text

Read the rules as a first-time visitor. Can they understand the price and decline comfortably? If actual conduct contradicts the text, change the conduct and terms rather than adding more assurances.
