What Is Palmistry?
An ancient art of reading the hand, known in India 5,000 years ago and reaching Europe in antiquity. It studies the lines, shape, mounts and fingers for clues about character, health and life tendencies.

How to Read Your Own Hand

Start with your dominant hand (the one you write with) - it shows your current life. Comparing it with the other hand shows what you have changed.

Rubbing your palms for 30 seconds makes the lines more visible. Daylight is best for examining them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which hand should I read - the left or the right?
Both give information. The non-dominant hand (the left for right-handers) shows your innate potential and the qualities you were born with. The dominant hand (the right for right-handers) shows how you have developed that potential through your choices and experience. Comparing the two reveals your personal growth.
Can the life line tell me how long I will live?
No. This is the most widespread myth about palmistry. The life line shows the quality, energy and vitality of your life, not its length. People with short lines live long and vice versa. Psychological stress and physical health affect lifespan far more.
Do the lines on the hand change over time?
Yes, and this is one of the most scientifically interesting aspects of palmistry. The lines change slowly over the years - new lines appear, old ones lengthen or fade. This usually reflects major life changes, new decisions or psychological transformations.
What does it mean if I have no fate line?
About 30% of people have no clearly defined fate line. This is not a bad sign - it simply means your path is not laid out in a single, fixed way. You have more freedom to create your career and direction on your own, rather than following a set calling from an early age.
Is palmistry a science?
Not in the strict sense - there is no scientifically proven correlation between the lines and future events. But there is a real correlation between the shape of the hand and personality traits (research in dermatoglyphics). In an esoteric-psychological context it is a tool for self-knowledge, much like astrology and numerology.
When is the best time to read my hand?
In the morning in daylight, when the hand is relaxed. Warm the palm by rubbing it to make the lines more visible. Avoid moments of stress or fatigue - the lines can then look tense and give a distorted picture.
