Personal Year: calculator of the numerology cycle
The personal year is the number from 1 to 9 that shows a person’s stage in the nine-year cycle of numerology; with a sum of 11 or 22 it stays a master number. It is calculated from the day and the month of birth and from the year. Example: for someone born on 15 March the personal year in 2026 is 1, and in 2027 it is 11.

How the personal year is calculated
The day and the month of birth
Each is reduced to one digit. For someone born on 15 March: the day 1 + 5 = 6, the month 3.
The year
The digits of the year are added down to one: 2026 gives 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1.
The sum
The three are added: 6 + 3 + 1 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1. A sum of 11 or 22 stays a master number; any other is reduced to one digit.
The year runs from the birthday to the day before the next one. Some schools count it from 1 January. The calculator counts it from the birthday: for someone born on 15 March, year 1 runs from 15 March 2026 to 14 March 2027.
