  1. First ask how the score is made
  2. Do not replace the house with the ranking
  3. Compare two calculations fairly

First ask how the score is made

“Dominant planet” is not one universally defined quantity. A method may weight rulership, proximity to an angle, aspects or other criteria differently. A percentage cannot be compared across programs without the rules.

Do not replace the house with the ranking

A highly scored planet still has a particular sign, house and aspects. Record them before a broad description. With an approximate birth time, criteria depending on angles and houses may change.

Compare two calculations fairly

Use identical birth data. Record the method and weights beside each result when available. A ranking difference reflects a rule difference, not evidence of two incompatible personalities.
