Connecting planetary meanings
Connect planetary meanings in a natal chart. A worked example with Mercury, the Moon and a square shows how to build a specific interpretation.

A meaning is a theme, not a portrait
Mercury may introduce communication and the Moon a familiar response. That does not establish whether a conversation went well. Circumstances and feedback are needed for that conclusion.
Add the relationship
If the bodies are near a square, a symbolic question may concern a mismatch between words and needs. Check the degrees first, then look for an example without assuming the mismatch occurs in every conversation.
Allow a different answer
Ask when the description resembles an actual situation. If no example is available, do not keep broadening the claim until something fits. The note can remain a possible reading not confirmed by experience.
