Citrine
Citrine is the yellow-to-orange variety of quartz, often a symbol of well-being and confidence. When buying, ask whether the color is natural or treated. Natural citrine is rare and much of the material sold is produced by heating amethyst. Color in a photograph is insufficient to identify treatment.

Care: store the stone separately from objects that could strike or scratch it. Check guidance for the particular specimen and setting.
Dust: use a soft cloth. Do not heat the specimen at home to alter or intensify its color.
Symbolic cleansing: a chosen ritual can accompany a new goal. The stone still needs ordinary physical cleaning.
