Citrine
Citrine is the yellow-to-orange variety of quartz. Its symbolism often concerns well-being and confidence. When buying it, the origin of the color and any treatment matter.

GIA notes that natural citrine is rare and much of the material sold is produced by heating amethyst. Color in a photograph is insufficient to identify treatment.
Symbolism and ritual meaning
Well-being: the phrase “merchant’s stone” describes an esoteric association. Citrine can remind you of a financial goal, but it does not guarantee income.
Confidence: its yellow color can be chosen as a personal sign of action and persistence.
A personal ritual with citrine
Place a specimen beside a work notebook. Record a task, a deadline and how you will check the result, such as a sent proposal, completed project or saved amount.
When choosing jewelry, compare material, treatment, setting and price. An “abundance” label is not a quality assessment.
Cleaning and care
Care: store the stone separately from objects that could strike or scratch it. Check guidance for the particular specimen and setting.
Dust: use a soft cloth. Do not heat the specimen at home to alter or intensify its color.
Symbolic cleansing: a chosen ritual can accompany a new goal. The stone still needs ordinary physical cleaning.
