Mugwort is Artemisia vulgaris. Esoteric practices associate it with dreams and symbolic observation. It is distinct from wormwood, Artemisia absinthium. The divided leaves look different on their upper and lower surfaces. Look for the exact botanical name; a general wormwood label is not enough to select an herbal product.
