Black Tourmaline and Salt Ritual for Home Energy Protection

Saturday (the day of Saturn, the planet of structure and boundaries) or during a waning moon (to banish the negative).

What you will need

• Four small pieces of black tourmaline (or another protective stone such as smoky quartz or hematite)
• Sea salt
• Four small dishes or saucers

Ritual steps

1. Preparation: Start from the front door. Physically clean your home, paying special attention to corners and windowsills.
2. Charging the salt: Distribute the sea salt into the four dishes. As you do so, visualize the salt absorbing and neutralizing all negative energy.
3. Placing the "shields": Place one dish of salt in each of the four corners of your home (or apartment). If this is not possible, place them in the four corners of the main room.
4. Activating the stones: Take the four pieces of black tourmaline. Hold them in your hands and say: "With these stones of power, I seal this home. Let them repel all evil and all negative energy. My home is protected."
5. Completion: Place one black tourmaline stone next to each dish of salt. Leave them there. Replace the salt once a month, disposing of the old salt outside the home (in running water or buried in the ground).
