Astrology and self-reflection: working with notes

Use an astrology journal for self-reflection. Set a specific question, compare the reading with your experience and record both matches and differences.

  2. Include the mismatches
  3. Choose an observable action

Write a question before reading

Choose one situation you want to understand, such as “How do I express disagreement in shared work?”. A specific question supplies context; “What kind of person am I?” can accommodate almost any description.

Include the mismatches

Beside the reading, record two actual examples: one that resembles it and one that does not. Do not revise a memory to fit the text. If the description is too broad, record that.

Choose an observable action

Instead of “working on my energy”, state an action: clarify a deadline, ask a question or decline a task. Later compare intention with conduct. An astrological conversation is not psychological assessment or therapy.
