Dates are approximate. Near a boundary, calculate the Sun’s longitude for the year, birth time and time zone. The tropical signs are equal sectors beginning at the March equinox, not the unequal boundaries of astronomical constellations.

How the symbolism is used
Pisces is the twelfth sector of the tropical zodiac. Mutable water is used for receptivity, imagination and adapting emotional responses. It is not a test of supernatural ability.
Jupiter is the traditional ruler; modern schools associate Pisces with Neptune. A planet in Pisces can occupy different houses depending on the chart and system.
A placement in a constructed chart
Neptune at 10° Pisces has a longitude of 340°. With a 15° Gemini Ascendant and equal houses it remains in house nine; house ten begins at 15° Pisces. The degree matters.
